Oh no!!! That's horribly close, but a near miss for us! It looks like we won't be able to leave to UT until the 27th of July (if I am predicting a fast growing season, which I am!). That means we won't get there until the evening of the 28th. We have a Bear Lake family get-together our first days there (the night of the 28th - the early afternoon of the the 30th) since my brother Nick will be in town too...
Either you MUST meet us up to hang out at Bear Lake for 2 days/nights or you have to try and shift your visit out to the next week!! I'm going to go crazy if I can't get in a good hang out with you two! No major interuptions of weddings, illness, or sickness can keep me from it, I hope. ;)
The week before and the week after were already taken, this was the only time left in July. We have to leave Saturday 29th because I have to be back to work on Sunday at 4 PM. Maybe we can meet in Bear Lake Friday night? Depends on where we will be at that point in our trip, we haven't scheduled out our time yet.
If the garden somehow cooperates then we will try and come sooner. If not we'll be there from 7/28 until about 8/8 if you happened to be able to come in August instead. Either way, we'll figure something out. Maybe I'll convince Athena that we need to see the Grand Canyon still and come down there to see you if we miss you in UT. :)
We will do whatever it takes to at least see you on the 28th. Like I said the week after (in Aug) is already taken, in fact I'm at work now and there is no full week open, only what I was able to get. Maybe I'll be able to get Sunday 30th off too?
Hypothetical question: If we weren't able to make it to UT until the 2nd week of August instead, would that be doable at all for you two? We're leaving camping for a couple nights, so I might not see your response until we get back. :)
No, my vacation is already scheduled. There wasn't any other time this summer available for me to take an entire week off. Sorry! I got lucky with snagging the week I did.
