Hi there, My name is Melody and I had a similar experience to yours just over a week ago. I was online and found your blog. I went in to premature labor at 24 weeks and after being placed on multiple meds to try and stop contractions by sweet angel was born at 25 weeks 2 days. He weighed 1 pound 5.4 ounces and was 13 and 3/8 inches long. My husband and I were completely devestated that he came so early but we really thought he would be a miracle baby. It was on Saturday night October 28th when a cardiologist came in to see us and told us that he had a heart condition that was in-operable and that we have 24-48 hours with him.
